| The Sapfi (South African Psychological Fitness Index) is a South African specific screening instrument that screens and monitors employees for psychological fitness risks. The instrument is based on the SAEHWS model for work-related well-being that was developed following ten years of cutting edge research by the WorkWell Research Unit, Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, North-West University (Potchefstroom Campus). The nature of the research and subsequent statistical modelling of results distinguish the instrument as follows: |
The Sapfi is currently the only scientific and standardised instrument in South Africa that screens for work-related psychological fitness risks and compares individuals to the South African Norm. |
The Sapfi is based on a predictive model that allows for psychological fitness risk prediction to support the proactive management of risks. |
The Sapfi is a very affordable and time effective tool, it takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete a Sapfi screening. |
The Sapfi is available in all 11 official languages of South Africa and is culturally sensitive with no bias against cultural groups. |
