| What is the SAEHWS? |
| The South African Employee Health and Wellness Survey or the SAEHWS (pronounced "sawes") is a South African-specific scientific diagnostic instrument that links organisational climate to employee outcomes. The instrument was developed following ten years of cutting edge research by the Think!Well Research Unit, Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, North-West University (Potchefstroom Campus). The nature of the research and subsequent statistical modelling of results distinguish the instrument as follows: |
The SAEHWS is standardised and validated for South African workplaces and provides for measurements against a South African norm and industry benchmarks, in other words, the SAEHWS is objective and comparative. |
The SAEHWS is cultural sensitive with no bias against any cultural group. |
The SAEHWS is supported by a predictive model, that allows for human capital risk prediction and the proactive management of risks and work-related wellbeing of employees, teams and areas of operations. |
